Project: Crystal Hill Elementary School Re-roof
Location: North Little Rock
Architect: Witsell Evans Rasco

Crystal Hill Elementary School in North Little Rock is getting a complete roof system replacement.  This is a two year, two phase project with approximately 50,000sf of roof being replaced this summer and another 32,000 sf replaced next summer in 2010.  It is a very tight schedule with approximately 4 weeks to complete the work each summer.  Scope of work includes removal of the existing shingles, wood decking & wood trusses and installation of new light gauge metal trusses, new insulation, and a new standing seam roof.


Project: Old Main Restoration - Arkansas Baptist College
Location: Little Rock, AR
Architect: SMC Architects

This 4-story historic monument (approx 17,000 square feet) was originally built in 1890 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It was re-constructed in 1893 after a fire.  The project will be delivered in two phases. Phase 1 consists of extensive exterior repairs such as restoration of the exterior brick and stone, restoration of wood cornices, replacement of all windows and exterior doors, replacement of asphalt shingles with slate shingles, and re-building the north and south entrances (porches) to match the original façade of the building.  The interior work includes demolition of all ceilings to expose floor joists, demolition of non load- bearing partitions, and demolition of existing floor coverings. The renovated first floor will include multi-purpose areas, bookstore, internet area, and study rooms. Phase 2 will include the renovation of the remaining floors (2-4).


Project: War Memorial Stadium Pressbox Renovations

Kinco Constructors is currently involved in Pre-Construction services for the renovations of the existing press box and additions at War Memorial Stadium. Once final drawings are completed, contracts can be written to prepare for construction of a new press box consisting of approximately 30,000 square feet.

Construction will begin once the State High School playoffs are completed in December 2009. This project will include the demolition of the existing press box, elevator, and stair towers. Over the recent years, management at War Memorial Stadium has been very deligent with regards to upgrades. The current renovation will include a new Club Level, Suite Level, Press Level and a Camera Area. Two new elevators will be installed along with two new sets of stairs allowing access to the plush new levels. This addition will also include over 400 additional fixed seats.

Work to be completed for the new 2010 football season.
 


Project: Donald W Reynolds Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter
Location: Highfill, Arkansas
Architect: JKJ Architects - John Mack

The Donald W. Reynolds Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter is scheduled to start construction in the fall of 2009 and be ready for occupancy in early 2011. This 66,232sf  campus resides on an 88 acre tract just west of Bentonville. The site will contain three structures in Phase I to consist of the Emergency Shelter at 43,146 s.f. a Recreation Building at 17,500 s.f. and a Maintenance Storage Facility at 5,600 s.f..

 The Shelter will provide a residence for 36 Children, School Classrooms & Administrative Offices. The Recreation Center will offer a full size Basketball Court, Multi-Purpose Activity Room and a Game Room / Student Lounge Area. The Maintenance Building will house equipment and an area for receiving donated clothes and food.


Project: Fayetteville District Courts & Prosecutors Office
Location: Fayetteville, AR
Architect: Wilson Estes Police Architects

Demolition of the existing Police and Courts Building was completed before this new Courts Facility emerged from the ground.  The new 15,000SF Courts Building contains offices, clerical areas, temporary detention facilities, and a new courtroom.  This one-story brick building is the City’s flagship LEED project, and is set to attain LEED Silver Certification through the implementation of sustainable design and building practices.  Completed December 2009.


Project: Eureka Springs High School
Location: Eureka Springs, AR
Architect: Morrison Architecture

Kinco was selected by the Eureka Springs School Board to be the Construction Manager/General Contractor for the demolition of their old high school and the construction of a new one. Kinco has been working with the school board and Morrison Architects to help pass a millage increase and is currently in the pre-construction phase to help better define the project scope and campus amenities.  High School Master Plan
